Confirmation
Confirmation is a sacrament that builds upon the foundation laid at Baptism. It marks a deepening of one’s commitment to the faith and includes a renewed affirmation of the baptismal promises. Before receiving Holy Communion for the first time, individuals receive the grace and strength of the Holy Spirit in a special way through Confirmation.
Children may receive this sacrament in Grade 3 or above. Our Parish runs a sacramental programme including attending Mass and workshops. Confirmation 2025 - Important Dates
The celebration of Confirmation typically involves several important parts: a public renewal of baptismal vows, the laying on of hands, a prayer calling upon the Holy Spirit, and an anointing on the forehead with sacred chrism oil.
Through Confirmation, a person is spiritually strengthened and marked as belonging more fully to the Church, preparing them to fully participate in the Eucharist.
