Dear friends,
As St Paul says today in the second reading “There are three things that last; faith, hope and love: and the greatest of these is love. As Christians, our whole faith is summed up in that reality called love. However to love is no easy thing. As Jesus says, “the gate to life is narrow and the way that leads to it is narrow and it is hard.” “Love hurts’ is another common expression. Mother Teresa would say “love until it costs.” If we really believe that love will bring us true life and true joy then we also acknowledge that it will cost us a great deal. The good news is that if we love, as the Lord has shown us, then we find the joy of God’s presence in our life. We find He is all around us and our joy will be full. True patience, kindness and true forgiveness are the best way to start. Never give up says Jesus, just simply keep going and then we will see God face to face. God love you Fr Frank
